The Results...

I promised I would share the news of where we are moving, so here it is! Well... I can tell you we are going to neither Georgia or Utah. How may you ask did this happen? The schools must have had different numbers than the numbers John listed and we did not match with any of them. So what now? Good question! John received a phone call from a program in New York today, that asked if he'd be interested in attending their program, but John isn't sure. He has another possible option in Alabama that he may like better and even another possible route of a program in Texas. We could even stay close to the Seattle area if we wanted. John spoke with a guy who graduated a few years ago, who has already bought his second practice and is looking for someone to help him run one of them. He's LDS too so that's always a bonus! So basically we still don't know where we'll be going! I'm sorry to bring such anti-climatic news, but I'll be sure and surprise everyone one of these days with where we're going! But to leave on a happier note, here are some cute pics of the babe!

I was cooking dinner in the kitchen when I looked over and saw Caleb reading the Parenting magazine, too funny! I hurried and took a picture to capture the moment.

Another shot of Caleb reading the Parenting magazine. The magazine has an article on how to get your child to sleep through the night, I hope he was reading it so he knows what's coming!

In the hands of fate?

The match list has been submitted! For all of you who are wondering what I'm talking about, the match list decides our fate for the next year, where we will end up for John's GPR (General Practice Residency). There are three possible options-- I guess kind of two: Augusta, Georgia, or Salt Lake City , Utah! There are two clinics in Utah--one at the University of Utah (yes, I know for a former cougar this may be difficult!) and the VA. John ranks where he wants to go, the schools rank him and wa la, if there is a match, that's where we're going! Georgia was ranked number one, so there is definitely a chance we will be going back to my home, the South! My home is also Utah though, with most all of my family members living there... either place we'll be happy! We will know on January 28th where we will be going, I'll be sure to keep you posted with the results!

I got a new camera for Christmas, here are some pictures I've taken of Caleb below!

Back from Utah!

We are back from Utah! We spent the last two weeks visiting family, eating lots, catching up with friends, watching movies and just relaxing. My brother and his family visited at the same time with us, it was so much fun to see Caleb and their little baby (who is 4 months younger than Caleb) interact with each other. You can see from the pictures below that they had a lot of fun together. I'm also posting a few other pictures from Christmas, I've been a bit slow posting to the blog!

Caleb was not very happy when he woke up on Christmas morning...

Caleb loved giving his cousin kisses.

Having fun out in the snow.

And a family picture!
