Back from Utah.

Even though it's been a week since I've been back from Utah, I'm finally posting some pictures!  It's been hard to do much with my right hand, the doctors think it may be Carpal Tunnel, the last thing I needed to have happen!  I swear my body has been falling apart ever since I had Caleb.  Somehow creating life takes away your own!  But--I wouldn't trade Caleb for anything, he is the best thing that has happened to this little family, I love him so much!

Here are a few pictures!  We had such a great time in Utah, thank you mom, Randall, Kristen and family for making it so wonderful!

And here are a few pictures of Easter..  Thanks grandma for the Easter outfit you gave him, he looked so handsome!

Ohio here we come!

Reason #1:
I thought I'd put this reason first since it's probably the biggest news.  We're moving to Canton, Ohio!  Yep, if you've never heard of Canton, you're not alone.  It's a small town about an hour away from Cleveland.  John spent this last week interviewing in North Carolina, West Virginia and Ohio.  He was offered a position at the VA in West Virginia or at a hospital in Canton, Ohio.  He's 99% sure he wants to take the offer at Mercy Medical Center.  It's a Catholic based hospital, John said he saw crosses in every room with nuns strolling the grounds, kind of funny!  The hospital does have an excellent dental program with brand new facilities, so John was sold, nuns and all!  My only reservation about Ohi
o is the freezing weather!  Oooooh, I'm getting the chills just thinking about it.  Thank goodness it's only for a year!  We were looking at the local paper online and the weather said 'More snow coming today!'.   John is really excited because we're in the city where the Football Hall of Fame is located, I think I know where our first field trip will be!  Everything has come so fast, we'll be leaving in the middle of June, just 3 months away!

Reason #2
John has been incredibly sick.  The poor thing had to interview in all three states, drive to each state after the interview (about a 6 hour drive each day) and try to convince each facility he was the man for the job.  He did this while he had a 102-103 fever, chills/night sweats every night, a horrendous cough and flu-like symptoms.  When I picked him up at the airport, he looked so thin (and you wouldn't say John is normally thin!), he had lost 20 pounds in 4 days!  That night he woke me up with his horrible cough, I've never heard any cough sound so scary.   He was so sick he was delirious and the bed sheets soaked with sweat.  John went to the doctor later that day and found out he has pneumonia.  Luckily he's been able to relax now that he's home, but he said this last week interviewing had been the worst 4 days of his life!  I'd say he did pretty good for interviewing under those circumstances!

Reason #3
John took the computer with him interviewing.

Reason #4
We're leaving for Utah on Sunday and have been busy getting things ready.  John will be gone doing a pedo rotation in Eastern Washington for two weeks.

Reason #5
Okay, this is probably the most legitimate reason.  I have been wasting so much time looking at vacation rentals in Hawaii!  We are trying to plan a trip in April, but it's been so hard to find a place we like for the dates we need.  I really hope something opens up, so if anyone knows someone with a condo that's available right on the beach for the middle of April, let me know!!!

Reason #6
For all you fans of Settler's of Catan out there, you need to know about this!  Settlers has gone global, through the Internet!  You can play the game with completely random people online!  It is so much fun!   If you don't want the hassle of setting up the board game with all it's pieces and then finding three other people to play with, then this is for you!
